EscribA Rich Bounty Of 'New Moon' Interviews From MTV.comir un título de entrada

This week, MTV.com has run a veritable cornucopia of interview snippets with members of the "New Moon" cast. We'll be talking to the stars -- Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner -- tomorrow (along with everyone else), so think of this week's round of questioning as a palette cleanser, something to whet your appetite in advance of the main course we'll be dishing out over the coming weeks leading to the November 20 release of "New Moon."

MTV reporter Larry Carroll probes cast members Billy Burke, Jamie Campbell Bower, Kellan Lutz, Edi Gathegi and Nikki Reed on a variety of topics, from the musical tastes to what they're spending their "Twilight" paychecks on. Hit the jump for highlights and links to the full articles.

Billy Burke
Q: What music is on your iPod playlist?

Burke: I have a huge, hugely eclectic collection. There's a lot of the stuff that's swimming out there right now. I'm a big Kings of Leon fan, then I like some of the older [stuff]. I like old Billy Joel, old Elton John. I'm a huge Tom Waits fan. I have his entire collection. And a lot of Peter Murphy's stuff with Bauhaus. Then the other side of that, I like country music as well. I've got a lot of country music on there. So, it runs the gamut.

Jamie Campbell Bower
Q: Have you been able to meet Stephenie Meyer yet?

Campbell Bower: Yes, she's fantastic. She's really lovely. I got to meet with her a couple of days before we started filming and spoke to her about the characters and stuff.

Nikki Reed
MTV: Are you ever tempted to go on a Web site and set the record straight?

Reed: Well, I've joked with Kristen a few times about how tempted we are to defend ourselves. But there's no point. For every one person who says something, you always hear about the squeaky wheel or the plane that crashes. There might be a person that is really mean, but [you hear about them, not] the million people that say really nice things. The people who say nice things don't really necessarily need to spend 50 million hours on the computer, typing up all the nice things. So you don't read those things, but they are definitely out there.

Edi Gathegi
Q: What does Mom think of "Twilight"?

Gathegi: Oh, she loves it! But Mom is not the perfect gauge, because she's Mom. My mom is very deeply religious, but she loves "Gone Baby Gone." I'm throwing F-bombs everywhere [in that movie]; I'm killing people. And she's like, "That's brilliant!" But I live beneath my means, because that's important. As an actor, you never know what is going to happen. You don't know when your next job is going to come. I mean, I'm doing all right now, but after "New Moon," I don't know. So you have got to prepare. It's an unsteady lifestyle, and you have to be smart about the money that you make. You might need it later on down the line.
